The 8 Areas of Life – How to Design Your Perfect Life

What is the perfect life? Many people have different ideas that are not really perfect. After several years of studying humans, I strongly believe that a perfect life is far beyond what most people think. It is all about satisfying all wants and needs in all areas of life.

A perfect life will continue to elude anyone who doesn’t really understand the different areas of life. Some people may disagree, but I strongly believe there are eight key areas of life that guarantee fulfillment. We will discuss it all in a manner that will help you design your perfect life.

1. Career or Business 

This is basically about what puts food on your table. Whether you are building a career through working at a job or own your own business, the goal is mostly to earn enough money to support your life and your dependents. 

In addition to making enough money from your chosen career or business, it is important that you love what you do. Since you are practically going to spend as many as 40 hours in a week working in a career or business, it is important that you find it enjoyable and fulfilling. 

2. Health and Fitness 

While some try to lump them together, health and fitness are significantly different. Regardless of that, you need to take both seriously. Being healthy has a lot to do with being free from diseases and illnesses. You can improve your health steadily by feeding properly and making other important decisions. You should also get enough sleep and make other important life choices to stay healthy.

Fitness, on the other hand, is about how you look and feel. It has a lot to do with your physical shape and how you try to maintain it. Taking part in physical activities and exercises is one of the most effective ways to stay fit, and you need to take it more seriously. When you are fit and healthy, you will have more energy to take action and achieve more in the other key areas of life.

3. Love Life or Intimate Relationships 

As humans, we love and long to be loved by others. It is always better when you have someone you truly love that actually loves you back. If you have a loving partner already, it is essential that you love them back wholeheartedly and do everything within your power to win their hearts completely. 

Your intimate relationship is very important to your overall wellbeing. It helps you find more meaning in life and can really make you a better version of yourself. If you don't have a partner and you are old enough to have one, keep your heart open for love. If you are already in an intimate relationship, love fully, and try to keep your partner. You can achieve this by always spending quality time together and constantly reassuring him/her of your love.

4. Money and Wealth 

Money is important in every relationship, family, or business. Lack of money can cause several problems, so it is important that you always have enough money to solve problems that may arise in your life.

Money and wealth have an unbreakable relationship. Wealth generates money, and money can be used to build and grow wealth. Money management is important in the life of anyone who wants a perfect life. Budgeting your income and investing your money wisely is among the best ways to promote the money and wealth areas of your life.

5. Personal and Spiritual Development 

Many humans pursue material wealth at the detriment of other important areas of their lives, like personal growth and spiritual development. Personal development is all about becoming a better version of yourself. To do that, you will need to set goals, read, and learn so much about how to grow into a better version of yourself.

Spiritual development is all about self-discovery. Depending on your faith, this may include reading inspired books, connecting to a higher power, praying, meditating, and even keeping a gratitude journal. This is all about your spiritual beliefs, so stick to what is right for you. You should also aim to connect with humanity. 

6. Family, Friends, and Social 

The people in your life and the quality of your relationship with them will also determine how perfect your life will be. You need to be in peace with your family members, especially those who are around. Next, you need to make sure that you have wonderful friends who will help you develop into a better person. Spend quality time with good friends who help to shape you into a better person. 

Besides family and friends, your relationship with other people around you matters a lot too. Your social circle may include colleagues, neighbors, and even members of social or activity groups you belong to. Keep your relationships healthy at all times. 

7. Recreation and Hobbies 

What are your hobbies? How often do you engage in them? You need to make out time to participate in some of the activities that make you happy. Recreational activities help to bring out the best in you, and you should embrace them. 

Your hobbies should be safe and healthy. Even if there are elements of risks in your hobbies, take all necessary safety measures at all times. Whatever you do, take some time to cultivate healthy hobbies. 

8. Home, Environment, and Things

This has to do with where you live and the things you surround yourself with. It is all about the quality of your home and the level of comfort you enjoy when you are home. Is your home large enough and designed to meet your taste? 

You need to live in the right environment and have the things that you love in your home. Design your home to be your castle—the safest and most reliable place to get to after the day's troubles.


Finding fulfillment in the eight areas of life discuss here will help anyone live a happy and perfect life. Some of the most successful people in life have learned this and applied it in their lives. Take steps to develop in these key areas, and you will find yourself on the path to immeasurable success.
